Experience as a Foundation
Metabasis was founded on a conviction: successful IT transformation requires more than technology. It demands sound architecture, strategic thinking, technical expertise and the ability to turn complex challenges into practical, sustainable solutions.
Its founder, Karim MTIR, has developed his professional experience in enterprise network architecture, infrastructure modernization and international IT transformation initiatives. His career includes assignments in complex enterprise environments spanning retail, luxury, banking and insurance, notably Carrefour, L’Oréal, Société Générale and Gras Savoye. His work has covered enterprise WAN and datacenter infrastructure, Cisco Software-Defined Access, Aesop-related IT integration initiatives, network security and infrastructure modernization. At Société Générale, he worked on datacenter network architecture, load balancing and configuration standardization. At Gras Savoye, his projects included international WAN quality-of-service deployment, WAN optimization and network backbone modernization.

From Experience to Entrepreneurship
Karim established Metabasis in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to develop an independent IT consulting firm grounded in practical experience, technical rigor and accountable advice.
Today, Metabasis is a founder-led specialist consultancy. Karim personally leads its core architecture and advisory engagements.
